The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) in Fulton County is hosting a community event titled ‘We Run As One’ to promote youth mental health. Scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, this event aims to raise awareness about mental health issues faced by young people.
The gathering is open to all community members and will feature free family-friendly games and activities, along with resource tables providing information on mental health support. Participants can choose between a timed 5K race or a family-friendly, untimed 1-mile walk/run suitable for individuals aged 5 and older.
This initiative reflects the commitment of local high school students to address mental health challenges and foster a supportive environment. By bringing the community together, YAC seeks to encourage open conversations about mental health and the resources available for those in need.
