Atlanta therapists offer trauma-informed care for Black women

Sharmaine, the founder of We Listen and We Don’t Judge™, created this practice from her own experiences as a high-achieving Black woman. She recognizes the struggles that many women face, including burnout, ADHD, and often feeling overlooked in their personal and professional lives.

We Listen and We Don’t Judge™ focuses on supporting Black women in Atlanta who may appear composed outwardly while grappling with internal chaos. This includes mothers, professionals, students, and caretakers—those who frequently prioritize others’ needs over their own.

The therapists specialize in addressing the specific challenges faced by women dealing with quiet depression, ADHD symptoms, task paralysis, and chronic exhaustion. They engage clients with personalized care that fits their individual circumstances, ensuring that support is relevant and effective.

The practice emphasizes understanding and empathy, creating a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and find strategies that work for them. By centering the experiences of Black women, the therapists aim to foster a community where clients feel heard and validated.

In summary, We Listen and We Don’t Judge™ provides vital trauma-informed care tailored specifically to the needs of Black women in Atlanta, helping them reclaim their wellbeing and navigate their challenges effectively.
