La Cleveland Clinic propose des séances de pleine conscience à la communauté des malades de Parkinson

Cleveland Clinic is hosting a series of mindfulness sessions designed specifically for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, their families, and friends. Dr. Taylor Rush, a health psychologist and director of the Behavioral Services and Interdisciplinary Programs at the Center for Neurological Restoration, leads these sessions.

The Mindfulness Mondays initiative focuses on teaching participants various techniques to ground and calm the mind and body. These practices provide essential moments of clarity and relaxation, which can be beneficial during the week. Each session encourages a welcoming environment, making it suitable for both newcomers and returning participants.

Participants are invited to find a comfortable seat and engage with the mindful Parkinson’s community. Each session includes time for questions after the practice, allowing for a deeper exploration of the techniques taught.

Attendance is free, but registration is necessary to secure a spot. This program not only supports individuals living with Parkinson’s but also fosters connection among their family and friends, enhancing overall mental wellbeing.
