Students often face immense pressure from assignments, deadlines, and balancing personal lives alongside academic demands. Recognizing this challenge, the Student Wellbeing team is hosting a free workshop aimed at equipping students with effective stress management techniques.
The workshop will take place on Monday, June 16, 2025, in the Elgar Campus B4 Auditorium. Participants can join an interactive Stress Tools Hub from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM, followed by the main workshop from 12:15 PM to 12:50 PM.
During the workshop, attendees will learn about the nature of stress, its impact on both mental and physical health, and practical strategies to manage stress effectively. These strategies include techniques to maintain focus, stay calm under pressure, and recover quickly from stressful situations. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed or simply looking to add more tools to your mental wellness toolkit, this event will provide valuable resources.
The Student Wellbeing team emphasizes that students do not have to manage stress alone. Engaging with peers and professionals can foster resilience and improve overall wellbeing. This initiative is part of a broader effort to support student mental health and promote healthier coping mechanisms in academic environments.
To participate in this workshop, students are encouraged to register in advance. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to handle stress better and improve your quality of life while studying.
