Johns Hopkins offers webinar on employee mental health support

The Johns Hopkins Employee Assistance Program (JHEAP) is hosting a webinar to educate employees about available mental health resources. Scheduled for noon on Thursday, May 22, the session will take place via Zoom and is open to all staff members, including managers.

Many employees may have questions about the role of an Employee Assistance Program, or they might be considering therapy but unsure of how to begin. This webinar aims to clarify what JHEAP offers, including counseling services, work-life balance strategies, and resources for personal issues.

During the session, attendees will hear from a member of JHEAP’s onsite clinical team, who will lead the discussion and answer questions. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking additional support and for managers who want to better understand how to assist their teams with mental health challenges.

To participate in the webinar titled ‘Unlocking Support and Mental Health Awareness Through JHEAP’, employees must register in advance. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to join the session.

For more information about the JHEAP services, employees can visit the Benefits & Worklife website. If you have questions, feel free to call 410-516-2000 or email benefits@jhu.edu.
