CenterPath Wellness offers free mental health services in NJ

As mental health issues rise in New Jersey, CenterPath Wellness (CPW) is stepping up to support uninsured residents by offering free mental health services. In partnership with NJMHAPPs, a state-funded initiative, CPW provides a range of essential services at no cost to those without insurance.

CenterPath Wellness, affiliated with Easterseals New Jersey, offers various services including individual, group, and family therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and case management for individuals with serious mental illnesses. These services are accessible in-person at CPW’s office in Plainfield and through telehealth options.

Dae’Quawn Landrum, the Assistant Vice President of Community Health, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to extend services to more individuals. He noted, ‘This funding enables us to offer high-quality, compassionate care to more people in need who cannot afford it.’

The program aims to address the increasing demand for mental health services in the state, especially for those who lack insurance coverage. CPW is currently accepting new patients, and uninsured individuals interested in accessing these services can contact them at 908-756-6870 or visit their website at www.mycenterpath.org.

Since its establishment in 1944, CenterPath Wellness has been dedicated to providing mental health and addiction services throughout Union County and across New Jersey via telehealth. This initiative aligns with the growing need for accessible mental health care, particularly during challenging times when individuals may experience heightened stress and mental health challenges.
